A web designer/developer by trade, a photographer, moblogger and professional art weirdo for the love of it, Ms. Jen started her art career in the high chair with her love of personal food art and food wall art at the age of 11 months. Her love for photography took off when given a Nikon FG-1 film camera for her 15th birthday. Many concerts, birds, trees and people photos later, she usually carries at least two cameras in her purse at any given time, one of which is a camera phone - all the better to moblog with. She is currently moblogging with a Nokia N95 camera phone.
Ms. Jen is fond of all things 1945 to 1965, esp. the hairdos, fashion, and art. She loves dark hair, red lipstick, capri pants, small shoes, and abstract expressionist & color field paintings. She feels that a good web site should say it all in color, clean typography, photos and a minimalist aesthetic.

After completing her Masters degree in Computer Science in Multimedia Systems in Dublin, Ireland, in Oct. 2006, Ms. Jen returned home to California and can always be found online at jeniferhanen.com and blackphoebe.com.
